Samaritan Ventures

Throughout its 50-year history, Samaritan Medical Center (SMC) has worked hard to develop partnerships with medical care providers that anticipate the needs of the community and to build and manage high quality medical offices that create a patient-focused environment.  The most recent example of this philosophy was SMC’s vision of a cancer center in its new landmark building on the corner of Los Gatos Boulevard and Highway 85.  This vision is becoming a reality with the Jan. 28, 2013 announcement that Stanford Hospital & Clinics has leased the building for a “one stop” Cancer Center opening in 2016.  SMC is now the focal point of the regional center of excellence in health care that is developing in the South Bay, and will continue to create ventures that accommodate the changing needs of medical professionals and the patients they serve.

Building the Strategic Plan

As we look to the future, Samaritan Medical Center will continue to develop a strategic plan that considers both current medical services and future needs, potential for enhanced clinical and service quality, and the financial needs of our partners.

Our plan builds on our past success in working with more than 200 physicians and 300,000 square feet of office space. Expanding programs with our physician partners and healthcare investors is the logical next step.
